Optimal Emergency Evacuation Route Planning Model Based on Fire Prediction Data

For the emergency evacuation of cruise ships in case sudden fire, this research proposes a dynamic route optimization method based on improved A∗ algorithm for real-time information, order to obtain optimal route. Initially, basic network topology diagram is established according internal structure ship. Before occurrence accident, can be applied an priori consisting all routes from each node exit. At time diffusion fire simulated using Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS) preliminary information so as estimate impact domain network. Then, data, planning carried out by applying breadth-first search strategy, determine current safety exit and reduce possibility casualties due uncertainty during evacuation. This model allows both people’s dynamically avoid fire-affected nodes helps people reach safe area soon possible. Finally, open-source ship structure, process under spread simulated. The results show that proposed works well evacuating mass people, which effectively improve process.
